*ALLEY OOPS
M 27” DOR. RE.
I called this flower “Painted Eye” while it was growing up because the bright, pink eye looks like it
was put on the apricot colored background with a brush. The flower is larger than
it’s early days at 5 ¾”. A good growing plant with good branching, Alley Oops has
re-bloomed well.

*AMAPOLA
1997 M 29” DOR. RE.
This bi-color bloom of 5 ¾” size could also be described as
a cream and pink blend with darker pink edges and white mid-ribs on the ruffled
petals. The halo is pale yellow and the throat is olive green. The plants have great
vigor and good size. Seedlings from Amapola often have petals of extreme width and
overlapping.

*ANNA RUBY
1998 LA 25” DOR. RE.
The garden
name for this plant has been “Eye & Edge” denoting the bright rose-pink colored
eye and matching edge on the petals of the 5 ¼” flower. Anna has a creamy beige
backround on the flower and is the first I have seen with the pink eye and trim
to match. To see Anna Ruby is to love her so I have named her for my favorite spot
in all of Georgia, Anna Ruby Falls. Nicely branched.
BELAIR DAWN X SWEET SUGAR CANDY $15.00

Blackie opens early before I get out and when I do the bloom is dead
black but the sun will turn it rusty as the slide shows.
The 5 ½” flower is just large enough for the tall scape. The flower is rough textured
from Strutter’s Ball. A compelling backround for a spill of many different colors in front.
Will set pods and pollen is fertile.
MIDNIGHT MAGIC X STRUTTER’S BALL $10.00
*BOTICHELLI’S STAINED GLASS
EM 26” DOR.
One of my absolute favorites from it’s early blooms, Botichelli’s Stained

reminded me of stained glass. The red eye is on a pale-yellow ground. The bloom
is nearly 6” in size. The plant is vigorous and highly
resistant to rust.
It does not have to be cut down in the fall when rust is prevalent. I love it and
I’m sure you will too!

HUGE

*HIGHWAYMAN
1999 M LA. 27” DOR.

How daylilies show personality is difficult to explain. The turn of a curl or tilt

I am so pleased to introduce Kim Elaine and it’s sibling Wendy Ann since they come from one of the
first seedlings I had to bloom back in the 1980’s. It took me awhile but finally,
in it’s tetraploid form, Madison Marie has produced tetraploids living up to it’s
potential. The very round 6” bloom has looping, free flowing ruffles heavy on sepals

TAGGY
1991 (D923) E-15" to 16"-SEV.
Blend of yellow and apricot (wash) with apricot veining on the sepals. Brighter
yellow eyezone and yellow-green throat. A very ruffled 4" to 5" flower. Fertile
both ways.
PONY RIDE x FAIRY TALE PINK $5.00
*TAILGUNNER HARRY CAMPBELL
EM 24” DOR. RE.
This 5” flower is the favorite of many of the visitors to our garden.
It’s color is pink with red eye and edge and stands 24”. This flower has a personality of it’s own. It is
not a tall plant, but is a good strong grower.
ANNA RUBY X REGAL BRAID $45.00
TALKING ROCK
1994 EM 25" SEV to EV. The 6"
flower is cream with a darker cream halo and veining. Big wide petals and heavy
ruffles. Shorter and with more consistency of form than its sibling GOODY TWO SHOES.
MARTHA ADAMS X BARBARA MITCHELL $5.00
*THERESA LAWRENCE FORD
M 30” DOR. RE.
This one, of the same cross as Tailgunner Harry Campbell, is taller
and bigger. Two colors of pink describe the flower. The bloom of 5 ½” is full in
form. The color is light pink with a darker pink eye and small edge on the petal
that matches the eye. The petals are nicely ruffled. This plant has some resistance
to rust, but is not perfect.
REGAL BRAID X ANNA RUBY $40.00
*TOLEDO
1998 LA 34” DOR. FR. This large plant has a 7” red-orange blossom with a large gold
throat radiating out to the petal edge on the mid-ribs.
MERLE KENT X MARY’S GOLD $15.00
*TRES OF HEARTS
M 26” SEV.RE. The light lavender base color has a bluish eye and edge on this 5 ¾” flower. It
is rust resistant so I needed it to make blue crosses. I want to get numerous shades
of blue on flowers that are rust resistant. Most of the flowers I have looked at
that have some blue also get rust.
ALAS X TETRA LAVENDER BLUE BABY $85.00
*TUNDRA
1995 M 24" SEV.
The plant has a
very
white 6” bloom with good
wide ruffling all around. This, the second of my white tetraploid introductions
provides a totally different line to use with current near-whites coming from Lennox
and I believe TET GENTLE SHEPHARD (although the pollen tag was missing).
LENNOX X ? $10.00
*TUNIS
1997 EM 26” DOR. FR. RE.
Tunis has a 5” red bloom. I am releasing this flower because it has produced some lovely
seedlings. This is a sturdy plant that multiplies well.
(LUSTY LEALAND X ATLANTA ANTIQUE SATIN) X (SCARLETT ORBIT X LOVE GODDESS) $5.00
TWEEDLE DUM
1995 EM 29" DOR.
Sibling of WHITE RABBIT with 5 ½” pink flowers. This flower also has the deep fuchsia eye.
COME FOLLOW ME X CISTY $5.00
*VALENCIA
1999 M LA. 25” SEV. RE.
The 5 ½” bloom is orange and darker near the center, blending
lighter toward the nicely ruffled edges. Branching is 3-way with 18 buds. Valencia
re-blooms often and the form is consistent.
(CHERRY CHAPEAU X MARISKA) X TETSILOAM VIRGINIA HENSON $5.00
WAUKA MOUNTAIN
1997 M 38” DOR. FR.
A cascade type unusual form daylily with a large plant and flower size. Pale yellow in color
but fading to cream edges on petals.
UNKNOWN $5.00
*WIDE SIDE
1994 M 27" DOR.
The 6" near white flower has small even ruffles. The petals are 3" wide and there is
a small olive green throat.
ARTIC SNOW X QUIETLY AWESOME $15.00
WHITE RABBIT
1995 EM 27" DOR.
The 6" flower is a creamy near white with a startlingly fuchsia eye. Plants quickly
present a riot of flowers.
COME FOLLOW ME X CISTY $10.00
WHITE WASHED
1994 MLA 27" DOR. RE.
This near white is very white. The 5 ½” flower has lots of ruffles and very
good substance.
GENTLE SHEPHARD X WINDOW DRESSING $10.00
*ZIMA
M 28” DOR.RE.
The early white blooms are often 7” and are still a sturdy 6 ½” at
the last bloom. The plant will set pods well.
(ENCHANTED EMPRESS X BOB WHITE) X GLISTENING ICE. $25.00
